Private Benjamin RANAUDO, serving with the Mentoring and Reconstruction Task Force (MRTF2) of the 1st Battalion Battle Group of the Royal Australian Regiment (1 RAR BG) has been killed in action in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan. He was 22.

Signaler (SIG) Sean McCarthy, member of the Australian Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) was Killed in Action (KIA)07-Jul-2008 Signaler (SIG) Sean McCarthy, member of the Australian Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) was Killed in Action (KIA) when the vehicle he was travelling in was hit and destroyed by a road-side bomb in Afghanistan.

He was 25 years old, unmarried and came from Perth, Western Australia.
