Baby Amiirah enters the world, but with a sad twist…

In June 2009, a man gone-by left his mark on the world when his baby daughter, Amiirah Ramiia Phoenix Schiliro was born. But her father died in 2008.
===============================
One of our staff has become a grandmother. How wonderful and an exuberant a feeling this must be.
But sadly, the father of a beautiful child is dead.

Our member of staff, Dawn Schiliro and her husband Carlo, lost their son in November 2008 to a sudden and, as yet, undetermined death. The NSW Coroner, Magistrate Mary Jerram, is yet to hand down his findings into the death of Gianni Schiliro in November 2008.
However, much to everyone’s amazement in the office on one fine Sydney morning, we all receive an email from Dawn - unable to contain her infectious and bubbly excitement - that her deceased son’s girlfriend, Jacinta Kinseley, had delivered a safe and healthy baby girl.
Amiirah Ramiia Phoenix Schiliro joined us Monday 22 June 2009, Hornsby Hospital.
A grand-daughter for Dawn and Carlo, a niece for Karla & Sandro and, in time, a new staff member for us! Thank you Jacinta for organically increasing our staff numbers.

Thanks Matthew for those lovely and unexpected words.
Amiirah is a beautiful little bunddle of joy for us all.
We feel blessed that out of a tragedy in loosing our son, we have been given this wonderful gift.

Gianni was one of my best friends and the best person i ever met!
Its comforting to know there’s a part of him here still. Its wonderful for the Schiliro family to have something to smile about.
Thank you for writing this article as it will be framed and hung on my wall with the rest of my shrine to him.
